Role Overview
The Embedded Device Tester plays a key role in evaluating the functionality and performance of embedded software systems. The role involves executing test cases, identifying defects, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring that device software meets the required quality benchmarks. You will be working with embedded test methodologies, Python-based automation scripts, and tools like Selenium to support test execution. This position is suitable for candidates who have a basic understanding of embedded systems, enjoy problem-solving, and can collaborate effectively with development and client teams.
Responsibilities
• Execute functionality tests on embedded systems based on the defined test plan
• Ensure full adherence to quality standards during execution of test cases
• Update test execution status in the test management system
• Log defects using standard defect-tracking tools and support debugging
• Coordinate with team members for review, feedback, and daily discussions
• Interact with clients to provide updates on test progress and results
• Assist in creating new test cases after analyzing functional and software requirement specifications
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of test scenarios and maintain accuracy in documentation
