Role Overview
The Graduate Trainee – Associate Integration Engineer will be part of PayU’s Software Integration Team. This team ensures smooth communication, compatibility, and performance across multiple software systems and platforms. In this role, you will directly support merchants, diagnose technical issues, and collaborate with developers to provide effective and timely solutions.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver, eager to learn, and passionate about resolving technical challenges. Since the role involves merchant communication, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with developers, merchants, and internal teams to provide technical support during pre- and post-integration stages
- Address and resolve technical queries related to payment APIs, plugins, and transactions
- Communicate system issues and solutions to merchants and internal departments
- Provide Level 1 support with strong troubleshooting and product knowledge
- Analyze logs to identify recurring issues or trends and escalate them to product teams
- Enhance merchant experience by offering clear, timely, and accurate technical support
