Role Overview
The Software Intern – Automation role focuses on supporting the engineering team with software documentation, automation scripts, internal tooling, and embedded software understanding.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy writing modular code, building automation tools, creating clean technical documentation, and contributing to aviation-grade software workflows.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for aviation software modules and embedded systems
- Develop automated report generation tools using Python or scripting languages
- Build and improve internal software utilities and testing tools
- Write clean, modular code in Python, C, and C++
- Study embedded software behavior and document critical components
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in script and tool development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like QA, Systems Engineering, and Compliance
- Participate in daily stand-ups and internal code reviews
